Although the Aquascape product has treated many customers well, we have heard many times that our customers wanted more! "We want more selection." "We want lower prices." "We don't want to be stuck buying only one brand"... Well, we listened (finally). As of March 1, 2007, pondscapedesigns.com will dramatically lower many of its prices by offering new product lines that have been field tested and proven! Instead of being forced into the high-set prices by one manufacturer, we now give you the choice of several competing items that may be as good or better than those you are accustomed to. At pondscapedesigns.com, we only ask ourselves this... "Why haven't we done this sooner?" You will soon see several more name brands entering the world of ponds on this site with many other smaller but reputable companies who can offer competing products at drastically lower prices. These smaller companies do not carry the huge overhead as some larger pond manufacturers and are able to offer excellent products and service without the high preset price tag. 9/4/06 at 12:00am PondScape's new site was launched. For years the web site only offered online shopping for pond products. Now, customers can access tons of useful information right from their computers. And we don't mean the typical confusing internet pond forums- We are talking about proven , useful information straight from PondScape and our manufacturers and suppliers, no opinions- no bull- just facts and proven information. All of our methods are field proven because we build ponds everyday. Our methods are not derived from some professor's book of pond knowledge. Tried and true and tested methods is all to expect here.
AQUASCAPE DESIGNS RELEASES NEW LOGO & UNVEILS ENHANCED BRANDING STRATEGY
St. Charles, IL – On July 13, 2006, Aquascape Designs President and CEO Greg Wittstock announced the details of the company’s major brand enhancement strategy. Effective January 1, 2007, Aquascape Designs will be known as Aquascape, Inc. in a massive branding initiative designed to simplify the water garden industry, while providing customers with the latest innovative products faster and making it easier for customers to
do business with Aquascape. This strategic move will solidify Aquascape’s space as the market leader.
The company has been diligently working on the branding initiative for over a year and includes brand name changes on products, as well as a sleek new logo for Aquascape that will be seen on store shelves beginning in late fall 2006. “It goes back to simplifying things and making it easy for our customers to do business with us,” Wittstock said. “I loved the old logo and will always love it because it’s representative of our roots. But the truth is, as we’ve grown and evolved it no longer accurately represents our product line.” The Aquascape team worked with Judith Guido, of Guido and Associates, a business management and marketing consulting company.
One thing that won’t change for Aquascape is the overwhelming belief in the core philosophies that made them the leader in the industry. “We’ll have a new look, a name change and new product lines, but what we believe in and how we treat our customers will remain the same,” Director of Marketing Michelle Kurschner said. “We pride ourselves on customer service and having the best products and people in the industry. None of that will change.”
The new logo and name changes were revealed during Wittstock’s opening speech at Aquascape’s Pond College 2006 held at the Pheasant Run Resort in St Charles, IL where over 1,100 professional contractors from around the globe attended. Attendees were excited about the opportunities that the enhanced branding offered them and they were especially fond of the new logo. “I love how the frog is moving forward and evolving since that’s what all of us are trying to do with our businesses,” Tara Siewing of Nature’s Re-creations in St. Louis, MO said.
Aquascape will begin incorporating the new logo into packaging and marketing materials in late fall of 2006.

Aquascape Designs Acquires PondSweep Manufacturing

(ADI) announced today the acquisition of PondSweep Manufacturing (PSM), the industry's leading manufacturer of multi-element filtration systems.

This acquisition provides Aquascape Designs with the ability to provide additional products for its pond and water garden customers and distributors. The PondSweep Manufacturing enterprise will become a division of Aquascape Designs with current CEO of PSM, Gary Wittstock, continuing on in a consultative capacity and the balance of the PSM employees integrating with the Aquascape Designs team.
